Don't underestimate the power of V3 Weight Management Complex.  I'm still a fatty, but with the V3 diet pill I get up and move like I'm still a kid.  For those who don't believe it, I had to do a video just to show you.  Keep in mind folks that I have arthritis in both my knees.  Before I began taking V3, I had trouble walking up just two flights of stairs.  I'm only in my 30s, yet I have the knees of an much older woman.

Since I've been on the V3 diet, nothing has stopped me from taking stairs.  Not even the high flights of stair at the water park.  Even if I didn't lose anymore weight, which I have been gracefully, just to not have any pain in my knees is enough for me.  Don't forget to stop by my YouTube channel What's Your Diet  and subscribe.

Be Free with V3

It is time that we take our freedom back.  America is going through an epidemic with weight loss these days.  It only because of the rise in health care that fast food restaurants are starting to make MINOR changes in their menu selections.  It's time to take back what belongs to us!  Let freedom reign.

Today was a good day.

Seeing how I don't have my topic prepared for today's post, I thought I would just tell you all about my day.  If you haven't noticed, my goal is to make a post every other day.  I take one day to prepare my topic and post it the next day.  I don't have my topic prepared for today, because I have been hitting the pavement hard promoting my new business.

If you haven't heard, I am a Independent Associate for Voyager Health Technologies; the makers of my new favorite diet pill V3.  This diet pill is all natural, and I love it.  The pill suppresses your appetite, increases your energy level and improves your mood.  It also helps to detoxify the body, promoting a healthy digestive track, and can help prevent tumor growth in the body.  If you are interested in trying this product you can call me at (219)392-9054 or visit my website here

So back to my day.  My day started off with a sweet kiss on the check from my husband as he left for work today.  People keep telling me that this will fade away, but he never misses the opportunity to lay one on me.  Shortly after that, I got up to get my day started.  One of the biggest issues I have with getting ready in the morning is my hair.  My hair is all natural, so just like plants, how my hair looks in the morning all depends on the weather.  Well luckily the weather was on my side today, and my twist-out Afro puff was rocking today. I toke my V3, just before leaving out with a full glass of water, and off to work.

Now I have a long highway commute to work everyday, however the traffic was on my side today.  I made to work about 15 minutes earlier than normal, which afforded me some time to get my chat on before my shift.  Usually my first stop in the morning is my friend Amanda's desk.  I was so excited about getting my free samples today, I just bee-lined it to her and gave her one.  Now Amanda used to have this thing with caffeine pills, so I was sure that she would like the V3.  Well I was right, while should couldn't get the full effect, because she had already taken a caffeine pill, she still liked the product.

So feeling good that I may have her as a potential customer, I let her get to work and started my shift.  We had an early meeting about some changes within the company and I was rather impressed.  I was expecting to hear the absolute worst, due to the fact that the upper management staff was all demoted.  However, the information shared was actually inspiring, for the first time of my 2 years with this company.  I've always been that employee that is just not happy with the company no matter what they do, because I see the imperfections and don't see them being addressed.

Lunch was absolutely wonderful.  I had cream of broccoli soup with fresh baked bread, the bomb.  Due to one of my co-workers leaving the company and joined him in a piece of cake, otherwise SAY NO TO BOOTY SPREADERS.  Told him good luck and that I would keep him in my prayers.  He is moving down south for some very personal reasons, so I wish him all the best. I was so happy that the afternoon went by as fast as it did, because I could not wait to get out to promote V3 during my evening walk in the park.

Man, oh man, was the park awesome.  Prior to getting there I printed out some generic fliers offering the business opportunity with my website listed on the back. Then printed off some product information for my cousin who is interested in trying the product.  So off I go towards IL to drop of a free sample and product information to my cousin.  I knew she would not be home, but this product speaks for itself, so I just left everything in her mailbox, so she can try it first thing in the morning.

So back towards home I go, me and my two boys.  They like to play basketball while I get my workout in.  So out the car with my fliers in hand, I start up my Cardio Trainer ( app review soon to come), and we're walking.  Today was really a good day because there were plenty of prospect in the park today.  So as I'm walking I pass out a few fliers to people as they rode their bikes, or sat on park benches while watching their children play.  With no one on the path for a while I pick up speed.

Well, low and behold, a lady is racing after me on a bike, "Excuse me miss".  She had questions about the product, and ding their was my second prospect for the day.  I told her all about V3 and the Voyager Health Technologies business opportunity and she was all over it.  She walked with me back to my car, and I happily gave her a free sample.  She said she's in the park quite often, so I told her I'd catch up to her tomorrow to see how she liked it.  I made sure she was aware of my number on the flier as well as the website information.

She rode away with a big huge smile on her face.  I pass out a few more fliers and run into a lady born and raise in Africa.  She explained that she was a hair stylist studying to get her CNA license.  She was so drawn to me and about the information about the product she walked with me while pushing her baby until I finished my workout.  So you know I got her number locked in my phone right.  I walked over a mile with her trying to build of that likability factor so that she would fell comfortable going into business with me.  By the way, gave her a sample to try as well.  Now she was a little skeptical, so I gave her some detailed product information too.

All in all, today was indeed a good day.  Why you may ask?  Because I reached my personal goal of giving out two free samples to perfect strangers today.  I don't get out much because I'm so busy with my family and church.  So I was bit concerned about marketing this product to it's fullest potential.  I'm so proud of myself.  I haven't been this focused about my business since I did customer service work from home.  I am enjoying myself so much, because I am pushing myself to the limit.  And I love a good challenge.

Great app for tracking your weight loss

Today I want to talk about tracking your success with weight loss.  There has been so many times that I have been approached, "oh, I see you're losing weight". Have you found yourself wondering, what in the world are they talking about.  I've gone up a pants size, they must be blind.  Well, for me, I don't have to wonder anymore.

There are so many benefits to be had when you are tracking your weight loss history.  It is much more involved than just saying, "I've lost two pounds today" and then mark it on the calendar.  For those who are serious about losing weight, there are many areas you need to track other than the pounds. Figure in what did you eat, what was the nutritional values associated with that meal.  Was that meal rich in protein or fat? Then there is the calorie count.  How many calories were consumed versus how many was burned for that day. To those who are just beginning their weight loss journey, this can be an extreme task.  This is where I was when I first began my weight loss regime.

Luckily for me, I have just recently purchased a new cell phone. I was being cursed all over because my phone would not hold a charge; therefore, I missed a lot of phone calls.  So I upgraded to an android phone.  I won’t mention what model I got because I absolutely hate it so far, yet I love all the new things I can do with the phone.  It has its goods and it's bad.  Anyway, being new to the Android world, I began downloading all these applications.  I came across a few apps geared towards tracking weight loss, however I have yet to find one as good as Calorie Counter.

This app saves everything you can think of when it comes down to tracking your weight.  This app is very easy to use and at first glance seems very basic.  However, in the background this app is analyzing every entry you put into it.  There are several parts to this app so I will review each section one by one.
*      Food Diary
o   Saves meals and nutritional values by breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.
o   Easy to adjust to the portion amount eaten by servings, ounces, cups, etc.
o   Saves meals by date to be analyze by the embedded weight loss tracker
o   Recalculates your Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) as you make entries.
o   Input foods eaten by search
§  Restaurants, popular brands or Supermarket brands
§  Search for saved food items or enter one yourself
§  Save a picture of what you ate
o   Use the barcode scanner to scan in what you eat.
This is the best part of the application if you ask me.  There is no way to fully track your calories if you don’t know how many calories are in what you are eating.  It can be hard to find the nutritional values for most restaurants.  This app does all of this for you.  There can be long lists of foods listed, but I have not found this to be an issue really.  If you use the barcode scanner especially on store bought food, it is usually fairly easy to input hard to find foods.
*      Exercise Diary
o   Saves defaulted activities by what day they are performed
o   Tracks a full 24 hour day worth of activity
o   Easy to customize activities and duration
o   Don’t see your activity listed, easily add one to the list
This exercise diary is the bomb.  Most people do not account for the calories that you burn just sitting, sleeping or driving. Well this application has all of that covered.  Work at a desk all day, well that is listed as well.  No need to account for the amount of calories burned, this app will do it for you.
*      Weight Tracker
o   Opens to a grid chart that tracks your progress since the first entry
o   Write a journal for the day and attach it to your weigh in
o   At a glance look at whether you are gaining or losing weight.
The weight track is simple and to the point and easy to use. Only thing I don’t like about it is there seems to be no way to change an entry in case of a mistake in keying.  However, I can see how this will ensure that you are not lying to yourself about how much you weigh.  So still a great feature.
*      Diet Calendar (saved the best for last)
o   Calculates every entry, food, exercise and weight
o   Analyzes the entries to project if you are on target or not
This I believe is the meat of this app.  It takes your entries and calculates them all together showing where you went wrong. Maybe you didn’t burn enough calories, or just ate too many.  You can tell this by comparing your net to your RDI.  Was your RDI on target, over the targeted goal or too far under the target.
The bonus to this app is that you can backup your entries to your SD card, but that’s not all.  You can link your app to an online account with Facebook, Twitter or FatSecret.com.  FatSecret.com is a free website created by the makers of Calorie Counter.  There you can link up with others and motivate each other to reach your weight loss goals.  There are tons of forum threads for support, diet challenges, or various diets in general. Currently this app is only available for Android and Blackberry systems.

I did It!

Why is it so hard to do something even when everyone else is doing it?  I sometime wonder is that what sets me apart from everyone else.  Is that truly my purpose, to be different than everyone else?  Or is that I'm afraid of change or afraid to change?  My motto has always been "If you are not 100% sure then don't do it".  I stand by that statement in everything I do, even at my 9 to 5.

I work in the mental health business doing medical billing. It’s one of those jobs that if you mess up, you go to jail.  There is no such thing as telling the judge, “oh that’s the law, well I didn’t know that.  I did what my employer told me to do.” Oh no, if you make a wrong step you are going down my friend. My boss would get so upset with me because she knew if I said I wasn’t going to do something, I damn well meant it. "Why do yo have to question everything", she would always ask.

For a while everyone at work has been trying to get me to join Weight Watchers.  Our company is generous enough to pay for half of the fees to sign up.  To me it's their way of saying, you better not get sick, but that's just me.  Anyways, more than half my department has signed up.  Everybody is all motivated to shed the pounds.  They look forward to Wednesdays which is weigh-in day.

Now I've been trying to lose weight for some time now and it seemed nothing I tried was working.  I’ve tried drinking different diet drinks to speed up my metabolism like apple cider vinegar and honey.  I’ve tried drinking more green tea in place of coffee.  {Weeping} So I gave up “booty spreaders” like eating ice cream and cake.  That was so hard. Oh man, cake is so my weakness.  I would bake a cake every other week. I gave of donuts at the office, McDonald's for lunch and (sobbing) Popeye’s chicken…… I gave up the bird….too.

I said enough is enough.  I have to do something.  I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis not to mention that diabetes and hypertension runs in my family. You hear about things like this when you are young, but you never take it to heart.  You don’t think about how much of that ice cream and chicken is still lining the inside of your arteries.
So I did it. I did it, I did it, I did it.  I stopped looking at the pill looking at me looking at it, as it sat taunting me from the inside of my purse.  Laughing at me, telling me I’m not strong enough to reach my goal.  In the long run the pill was right.  With my busy life I could use some help, so I did it.  I toke that free sample, I busted it open, stuck my tongue out at it and said nah nah, you can’t taunt me anymore and I toke that pill with pride and joy.

However that pride and joy was quickly replaced by something else after a short while.  I was beginning to feel something inside of me.  Not like a buzz but not quite a tingle either.  As the day progressed I began to like the feeling. The feeling like I could do anything.  I went to work feeling great. I was in a fantastic mood, which is interesting because I am not a morning person at all.  I’m the person you say “dang, you mad at breakfast”.  Yet I felt great all of a sudden.

In medical billing, especially working in claims follow up, there is a lot of thinking involved.  But this day, I was flying through my paperwork like a genius.  Piles of work that had been on my desk for weeks were processed, followed up on, and completed in one day.  Wow, is all I could say to myself.  I felt like Super biller, I just needed my cape.  I really like these pills.

Disappearing Acts

I can't believe it. After the many years of my voluptuousness I have decided to shed the pounds. Problem is, I just don't have the time to work out like I did when I was younger. Working full time, maintaining a household and taking care of a husband and two growing boys, a sista be tired yall.

In spite of all that, I have come to terms that I am getting older and it's time for me to be more in tune with my body. So one day I am talking to my best friend Tomika about starting a diet. She was just going on about how she has been seeing this weight loss doctor trying to lose weight herself. I kept telling myself that I was going to pay this doctor a visit but just could not find the time to get there.

Well, Tomika calls me up one day and says, you know I don't use those supplements that doctor told me to take. She was given a supplement to take three times a day, but she claimed to have found a product that was like no other. Unfortunately she was not at liberty to tell me what it was at the time. I just blew it off and didn't think anything else of it; until I saw her.

We work for the same company so she paid me a visit after a meeting.  I could not believe my own eyes, my friend was disappearing. Within a matter of just a few weeks she had dropped at least a size. I was in shock, she put a small package in my hand and said try this. It's an all natural diet pill made by a company that's in pre-launch. She continues and says, this pill has worked so well for me I decided to become a distributer.  Call me in an hour and tell me how you feel, gotta go.

Being the skeptic and realist that I am, I didn't take the pill. It sat in my purse looking me looking at it. Another day went by as that pill sat in my purse looking at me looking at it.  Why oh why can I not take this pill? Yet it was calling me. Now I wish I had done it. She looks absolutely great and has reached her goal, looking like she did in high school.  Dang.
